Here are the details. A friend of mine has an '86 capri with a rebuilt '89 GT engine, long tubes, o/r x-pipe, and flows. All of this was installed about three months ago. Recently (about 2 weeks ago) his starter solenoid went, so he replaced and a week later his new one went. He now wants to sell the car and I'm thinking about getting it, but what would cause the solenoid to keep going bad?
