Well I was at the track were I did a best of 13.9 at 103. 60 foot at 2.5. Sorry track prep. With stock Cobra timing and a A/F of 11.90 I know theirs alot left Any how, I was up next to race and I try to start it, and it just sounded like a whine. So I got scared, and thought my engine blew of something lol!!! So I tell my bro to crank it as I hear the sound and sure enough the engine wasn't cranking. SO we push started the bitch lol!!! So what kind of Starter should I get. I want something that will last cuz I know how much of a bitch it is with The damn Long tubes!!!!!!!!

The Fox starter will bolt in to our cars but I'm not sure about fitment issues with long tubes. The OEM SN95 starter is a gear reduction type and really is a nice design. You get tons more torque out of them. I actually picked up a new one off of eBay for less than a reman unit. It's been working great for over a year now.

The Fox starter would bolt in, but you'd have no solenoid. Ours are on the starter, theirs were remotely mounted.

A late model fox starter has a piggyback solenoid (i.e. asking for one for a '93).

Guero, with your LT's, I'd get a nice aftermarket mini so you dont have to do this crap again.

Good luck.

Well I called Ford and they wanted 108. With whatever gay warranty Ford offers. So I called my friend at checkers and he got me a Autolite with Lifetime warranty for 100 bucks. So I bought it. Autolite is a pretty good company right?? Well I love their spark plugs.

Nice work mang. I personally think starters are a crap shoot when heat soak is a possibility (your LT's ambient temps, etc).

I dont wanna know how your old one broke.

I have no Idea how it broke. Their was a bolt missing on the bottom. That could of easily caused it. Any how it has life time warranty the LT's can **** up as many as they want
