Startin to stock up for the 4th of July

Yea - definately a good start. Up here in NY, they are illegal. I'd have to drive down to PA to get any, then hope to get back home without getting busted with them. Sucks - NY is no fun

You have to sign a waiver down here that they are going to be used for either a sporting event or for agricultural purposes, i.e. scaring birds off of your crops. Yeah thats it were gonna be scaring birds, thats the ticket.

Hopefully we get more rain so they "authorities" don't crack down too much. Usually they are pretty laid back and don't bother you.

i live in NY too, i have a couple of friends who drive down every year to the PA phantom fireworks store at the delaware water gap

they are having a great sale till 6/7/06 - buy any firework, any assortment, anything from there store, and get 1 of the same free...you can buy a $80 new yorker assortment and get another one at no cost, kick ass deal if you ask me.....i might just take that drive

pretty much anything. For stuff that flies and explodes I believe that 500 grams is as big as you can get for consumer stuff without a license. There are plenty of stores that you can get them at like Sky King, Thunderbolt and Phantom. Where are you at in Fl?

Most of the places down here are either buy one get one free or buy one get one for .99. Pretty good deal. I got 72 500 gram mortars, a bunch of assorted size bottle rockets, 24 roman candles, and lots of other little things for filler. We'll get drunk and try not to lose any fingers.

We go up to DeBary, my buddies inlaws live on a lake up there and we shoot em off over the lake. I put the cars under the trees at my house on the 4th and New Years cause there is all sorts of crap flyin around my neighborhood.

I live in Hollywood, like 10 min from the beach.

I got some today, 120 bucks worth. Great place called shelton's in alabama, They are illegal in GA too but noone cares. Except my ****** neighbor behind me alwasy gets pissed. One year she came over and shoved a bottle rocket in my neighbors face saying if that"Shi t" lands on her porch again she was caling the cops.
My neighbor: Fu ck you!
Bam slams the door in her face

hahaha bia tch

Their illegal here too, but of course I'm stocked up. I normally get mine from Phantom. They always got the buy one get one free deal. My buddies get them too. Nothing like beer and fireworks! I had to slap a Roman candle out of my buds hand because he was holding it over his head....BACKWARDS :D I can't believe were all still alive. It's fun though. Mortors are teh win :nice:

I remember last summer I was at this girls 4th party. When one of the guys who lit the mortar ran away, he TIPPED THAT DAMN THING OVER!!!!!!! Basically where my friends and I were sitting, we could see down into the barrel, needless to say we dove and it ended up lighting a bunch of bushes on fire. The most fun thing we have each year is roman candle fights. They burn slightly depending on what size you get but about 10 guys with no shirts, lighters and about 5 10 round roman candles is about the funniest damn thing ever!

god damn i hate MA, actually anywhere close to me SUCKs. NH use to be cool but they stopped selling all the good stuff. I remember when you could go get like 50 M-80's for 30 bucks in NH. Now THOSE were fun....now you cant even buy firecrackers! they are "explosive devices" the fun police are really killing all the good holidays. :(

I don't remember M80's being available in NH in the 60's, did it change?

Fortunately, I moved on to Mississippi and now, South Carolina, where its only a 20 minuted drive to the local fireworks store, and a few more minutes to the Fireworks Superstore. Every exit on I95 has a bunch of them.

I got used to shooting stuff on the 4th and New Years here. I hate it that the guy who built on what used to be the vacant lot next to me gets bottle rockets on his lawn and roof. He retaliates with his sprinkler system. Soaking my cars and dog. So we call it even.

Lol 60's? im 23 man...My cousin use to go up and get them in NH every year for our 4th of july party. You could get firecrackers and fun stuff up untill a few years ago. We have a family house on Lake Winnepesauke. Maybe they were legal, but we def got some not too far from the lake. But there are a bunch of shady ass places to buy from around there anyways.

I don't think he's talking about real M-80's, but I'm sure they said M-80 on them. I've never seen a real M-80.
