Steeda Question

Hey everyone! Well it looks like I get to KEEP my GT!!!! I'm pretty stoked about that but after so many questions from people I am beginning to wonder myself.....people ALWAYS ask if my GT is "a real Steeda". How can I tell? I have seen a 2002 "Level 1" Steeda GT and to be honest it's mods are really no different then mine. I just wish there was an easy way to tell like how the Bullitt has the sticker under the hood on the strut tower. I couldn't find any info on Steeda's website as they are all about the new '08's now but I DO know that they have different "Levels" of Steeda enhanced 'Stangs to choose from. I think mine might actually be the "Base Model" Steeda GT of 1999. Can anyone help?

Umm as far as I know, there is NO level of Steeda mustangs .. Steeda is an aftermaket company that sells parts and sponsorships. Some people just "Make" their cars "Steeda" but thats just cuz they buy are their parts from there..

But If i read it correctly your thinking that Ford made a steeda mustang, and the answer to that is No. The only levels of steeda is how much money you spend. The more parts you buy, the higher level of "Steeda" you are.. lol

No actually Steeda DOES make "special edition" GT's. Go to steeda's page and click on "New Vehicles" and they give a list of the "Levels" of Steeda Gt's you can pick from. the highest being a S197 "Steeda Q525" with a handbuilt 5.0LMod Motor putting out 575HP/540TQ!!! The "Levels" of the "Steeda" S197 start at the V6 'Stang and go all the way to the before mentioned Q525 GT which has a $53,995.00 price tag. I'm surprised you never knew that Steeda ACTUALLY orders NEW Mustangs from Ford and modifies them in house (Exactly the way Roush or Saleen does) and resells them as Limited Edition 'Stangs. As far as I know Steeda is the only aftermarket company that can modify your car for you and NOT void the warranty as Ford recognizes them as the number 1 aftermarket company for their vehicles. Even cooler Steeda is moving where I live right now.......sucks that I'm moving before they get here

Steeda does make mustangs and sells them, just like Roush. As far as telling if it is a true one or not, that I do not know. I would call them up and ask.

They've done a whack of work to my car, so, in support, I have a windsheild banner and an oval on...whether the work they did on my car makes it an "offical" Steeda who knows, but the money I spent there, I say it is lol
