Isn't it going to take a little more than that to really take advantage of the Boss intake? Unless they are upping the Rev limiter with the Tune but I thought that was dangerous for the engine.

Looks like the Boss intake will be to the new 5.0 as the GT40 intake was to the old 5.0. Yeah, just putting on the intake won't make the 5.0 perform like the true boss engine (its minus some tweaked cams, port polishing, valves, forged internals) but there are good gains to be had below 7k rpm.

I have high hopes for this....I was in the process of figuring out which canned tune was going to be best for a car that sees a lot more track/autocross days than strip days....

Nice. Show a dyno pull, then don't show numbers.

They said they were still tweaking the kit which is why they didn't release official numbers yet but they mentioned that the initial testing is very promising. Supposedly, it will be THE WAY to go naturally aspirated.

I have the Boss manifold in my Mustang along with the Steeda intake. It is a world of difference and performs much better. Im waiting for an appointment with my dyno guy in order to see gains. I put down 390rwhp/372tq with just the steeda intake and axle backs on a BBR tune.
