I wanna lower my car a bit.
I wanna get the Steeda Sport Springs. Will those be ok with the STOCK shocks and struts? Will ride be worse or better with the new springs with stock struts n shocks? I wish i could get the Tokico HP's but i cant afford it. Every site I go its like $309 for the set! sheesh....
my car has 42,000 miles on it, and visits dragstrips occasionally.

Thanks

Or get Bilsteins if you have money. See the reviews section on why. They are expensive, but you never have to replace them, and even if you did, they back it up with a lifetime warranty. They don't degrade over age and automatically adjusts to all road conditions. I'd recommend Bilsteins if you want to hold on to as much ride quality possible since lowering springs sacrifice ride quality for performance.

They're also OE on late model Cobras.

Yup they do. They ride smooth too. I was surprised. Save up for those shocks and struts tho. You'll need them in the future because your stock stuff will wear out quicker.

without a question when you do buy shocks and struts dont waste your $$$ get the bilsteins...i have had tokico blues, illuminas, and the mach 1 tokicos and there all junk compared to the bilsteins, it will ride smoother, not bouncy and just trust me you will thank me when you drive it, plus the stock stuff will wear out quick with any lowering spring due to not beign able to dampen the increased spring rate.

Not only do the stock shocks/struts wear out quicker because of not being able to effectively dampen the increased spring rate, another thing that wears them out quicker is because of the simple fact that they were designed to have a certain amount of compression while your car is standing still & that rate becomes increased; so in essence, they are always working, even when your car is not.
