Just received a Steeda STB for my '98 Cobra. When I line up the brace with the strut towers, the back of the brace is 3/4" to 1" shy of the firewall. Called Steeda and they insist I have the correct brace and that once I torque down the brace to the towers it will be flush to FW. Sounds like BS to me.
The place I bought the brace from initially told me that the back of the brace would attach to the two sheet metal protrusions from the FW, which is not the case with the one I have. Has anyone used the Steeda for their '98? What other braces has some of u used? Appreciate any direction on this. Thanks.
