i just bought a steeda strut tower brace off a guy for $50 and put it in ... man, it makes a huge difference!

i haven't had a strut tower brace for over a year since the intake went on.

A difference in what specifically? I haven't had mine on for a while and am wondering if I should get one.

the front end feels alot stiffer, turning is noticeably sharper, fewer rattles, ...

maybe it's just my imagination, but i don't think so.

i also haven't had a rear swaybar on it, it was broken before i got it. i am installing that and the coil-overs next.

Was it new for $50?

I want to get a Steeda strut tower brace for when I do my intake swap. No way the factory brace will fit the Edelbrock.

I drove mine a few miles without a STB and can't imagine daily driving the car without one. It sucked. BTW - good deal on the brace!

yep, holes line up perfectly.

i dunno about the cobra intake, but i'd be surprised if it didn't clear it.

but i think it touches in one spot the plastic ribbing under my 96-98 hood.

pics to come ...
