Recently installed one and have the timing set to 15*. It runs fine, no bucking or "bb's in a can sound" that's characteristic of detonation. But, in the higher RPM's when I'm WOT, it just sounds different. It sounds more "airy" if that makes any sense, like not as "solid". It pulls good though, and there is no detonation going on in say 3rd or 4th gear WOT at low RPM (40-50 mph). So I'm not sure if I'm getting detonation up high or what. Is that possible to be able to get on it without pinging in 3rd and 4th around 2500 rpm, but have faint detonation occuring up higher, around 5k + ?
