Do you guys have a prob with the PS being slugish? It just seems like it takes too long to catch up. We were playing around in a parking lot tonight and i noticed this. I'm a little worried about it because this summer it is going to see some alot of course time.

I've noticed that when I cold start, there is slack in the power steering that takes a second to catch up... is this what you are talking about?

I too have felt this little "bump" in the rotations of the steering wheel. I've also noted in the few occaisions its happend, I was in a desperation turn that I had already blown and tried to correct it ASAP. Ive sorta started using this as indicator of how smooth I am with the car.

Granted, their are a couple turns in out local autox reigion that do require some pretty quick transistions, but for the most part, the "bump" can be avoided.

Im not really sure what causes it, but I just try and take the correct line around the course, and usually that solves all my rapid steering jerks. If I really thought about what was causing the problem, it would lead me to believe the orifice's in the PS assy. that allow the rush and drain of fluid are somewhat undersized for such quick transitions. I dont think castor/camber really have an effect on this occourance either, its happend to me with OE settings and now currently with -2.2 and +6.4, cas/camb.
