STEERING RACK LIKEING BAD

03 GT can i try a used rack or it's best to.go with a.new one?
whats the best price. autozone told me $199.99.new is this good?
can i just try stop like. to keep me rooling till pay day LOL?
i did this job on my fox. is it harder on the 99-04.cars?

well keep this in mind.. if you run out of fluid, you will loose power steering and power brakes.. its not a good idea to run it dry.. it is a simple install just like the foxes, just the 2 tie rod ends, 2 bolts holding it to the k member , 1 bolt to the steering shaft and 2 banjo style nuts for the PS lines.. i know that napa racks were supposed to be better then the ford factorys on foxed, i'm not sure if thats the case with the 95's
 
keep in mind, that your power steering pump can be damaged as well when running low on fluid, if you hear the pump groaning any its being damaged. Another thing I have seen happen is when the fluid is changed on higher mileage vehicle (100K+) the pump can't handle new fluid due to atf having strong cleaning abilites and the pump goes out. Just something to think of incase it happens.
