That sucks that your hand cramps. I assume you have the stock steering wheel?

I have a grant GT steering wheel. I like the looks of it, its a good size and comfortable

Yea im pretty sure its stock, steering wheel is uncomfortable to grip my hand cramps up and i dont want to buy one of those stupid things that go around it

im tryna make the car a lil more comfortable to drive, its only fun when im putting the pedal down ha the extremely stiff shocks in the rear dont help either

My favorite are the '85-86 GT wheels (might have been in other years too but i'm not sure). They're basically the same as what i have only with the simulated stitching and the round thing around the Ford emblem in the middle.

You're driving a car, not hang-cleaning 500 lbs. No need to be gripping ANY steering wheel hard enough to cramp up!

Here's mine. When I took this picture, I wasn't aiming for the wheel, but its the best I have of it.

based on that dude i dont think any steering wheel is going to lessen the pain...unless its really fat or something so you dont have to close your hand as much

It just screams "Ford borrowed this from a no-options Tempo!" doesn't it?

FWIW, that Momo wheel is really nice, similar to what I'm thinking of maybe getting for my '84, but there are a bajillion clones of it that are identical in quality and style (but in a ton of different color variations) and cost a fraction of what a real Momo wheel usually costs, so you might wanna give eBay a look. I was peeking the other day out of curiosity and most of the wheels of that style have "Buy It Now" options for less than $30. Add a Grant installation kit from your local parts store (I wouldn't trust anyone on eBay to send me the right adapter), and you should be able to have yourself a groovy wheel to hang your mitts on for less than $100.

Unless, of course, you NEED that genuine Momo logo on there...?

OK now I'm really curious what circumstances involved you blocking a baseball bat with your hands!?
