Yeah my dad just told me exactly when I opened this thread. That really sucks, he was awesome at what he did with alot of passion involved in it.

Always watched him when he was on. Like everyone else said, at least he went doing what he loved.

I always figured him to end up as Gator food...not a freak incedent like this.

I still laugh when i see his commercial on ESPN when he tackles the Florida Gator Mascot.

yeah I forgot about that... man this is the first time I ever felt really really sad about a person I never knew. He was so happy all the time.

Definately a very terrible tragedy. I am pretty upset at the media because all they keep showing is the incident with his 1 month old and the crocidile... Thats not how he should be remembered. RIP Steve

What's also sad is the people who took it upon themselves to go vigilante on the stingrays. Supposedly there were 15 or so found slaughtered along the sea shore as a result of his death.

Don't blame the stingrays for Irwin's death.
