Stiff Brake Pedal

I have a project 1969 mustang that I swapped a roller 302 into and it has power brakes and front disc brakes. When I first drove the car home with the original 302 the brake pedal was very stiff and hard to push down so I figured it was a bad brake booster so I replaced it and the master cylinder with one from a fox mustang similar to this setup Fox Mustang Power Brake Booster Install . I just finished plumbing my new brake lines tonight and the first push the pedal went down fairly easy and pumped and then got really stiff and I had a big leak on the the top of the distribution block where the lines from the master cylinder connect and air bubbled coming out of the fittings. Anyway it got late and I have to look at it again tomorrow but I was wondering if maybe my distribution block is clogged and this is what is causing the problem? I have a new booster and master cylinder and most of the lines are new, and distribution block is the only thing I didn't replace and it felt like it got really stiff after fluid reached that area if that makes sense.
Thanks

There's nothing about the block that could cause stiffness. What is your vacuum?
