There's a Goliath Bird Tarantula that's like a foot wide from toe to toe. It has 1" fangs too. That sucker eats freakin birds. Sposed to be the biggest spider. (Not me in the pic) You can order these and those camel spiders online :nonono: A side story...We have some pretty big freakin wolf spiders here...last time I saw one I pushed my gf in its path to kill it and and got the hell out of there. :D

This thread makes me itchy.

And I will not hesitate to push a young child, woman, pregnant woman, grandmother, or anything else into the path of an oncoming spider. Spiders = HOLYCRAPGETTHE****AWAYFROMMEOMGGIRLSCREAMGIRLSCREAMJESUSOMGRUNNNNN.

holy hell--i thought we had some big spiders down here in the south texas boonies...

those guys look like the spider-looking things from the Aliens series. seeing that makes me wanna go out and buy a flame thrower... just in case.

they are called camel spiders, but if you look closer it has 10 legs therefore making it a scorpion not an arachnid. we had a "thunderdome" when i was in saudi and had one of those that was the reigning champ, till a pack of 4 lizards teamed up and took it out in less than 5 minutes.

Thoes big spiders don't scare me as much as the little ones. At least with the big spiders you'll have a better chance of seeing them, with the little spiders they can hide almost anywhere... Especially the brown reclusive. You don't ever want to be bitten by one of thoes. You would have a high possibility of losing the limb it bit if you don't get medical help in time, and you can't even feel the spider bite you. You'll just get a little rash at first and it progresses from there.

I agree. If you ever see a tiny one on your shirt, the first thing that comes to mind is "If i didn't see that one until it got on me, there could be millions more on me."

And therefore ensues the shirt ripping-off-showering panic of fear.

Gawsh I hate spiders.

Corwin's ok he's a little weird. The crock hunter is so much cooler

Yeah, we have a good bit of brown recleuses & black widows here in North Carolina. A friend of mine has been bitten twice by brown reclueses. Both times, he got medical attention in time & he didn't get like those pics show. But yeah, they can make your limbs turn black & rot off if you don't get help. Eww. I hate spiders! What sucks is that those brown's are so dayum little, you can't always see them!
