Stock Engine??

I think I have a stock engine on my 86 GT. The original Upper & lower intake manifold's are on, as well as 58MM TB. E6 Part numbers. The TB, EGR, both intakes, Valve covers, and heads have a blue colored sealer. Is this stuff original?? Or has this stuff been off?? The water pump looks to have been replaced. The sealer on it is an orange/red color?

Anybody remember what a stock engine gaskets and sealer looked like when doing s H/C/I or TB swap??

looks stock except the k&n there. Remember that you don't have notched pistons so the heads you pick are limited. unless you have the pistons notched

I'm gonna pull the motor before it hits 200,000 miles. It has 165,000 on it now. Sounds high, but it's a 20 year old car so that's a little over 8,000 miles a year. I'll replace it with 87+ stuff.

I may need to do a compression test on it. It "feels" fine, but I have a feeling the valve covers haven't been off this car. I've had it almost two years and put less than 5,000 miles a year on it.

I put the K&N on. It had the original air-box when I bought it from a wholesaler.

I have no clue as to if it's been rebuilt or not. But it seems it hasn't

yeas it seems to be stock. i looks at the pics and it still has the engine hoist hook on the drivers side
