I recently moved and I had my stock H Pipe in storage. My friend who helped me moved suggested I sell it. How much money is a stock H Pipe worth? Maybe Ill go on ebay if it's worth my time.

I gave mine away to a V6er. Help a friend out. It will be worth more than the $25 you'll get for it.

KEEP IT, unless you are just strapped for cash. I am glad I kept mine as someone took it upon themselves to jack my car up and take my DRGas and flows at the Casinos. They didnt even take the jackstands with them, just left em for me. If I didnt have my old pipe I would have been severely inconvenienced. Oh yeah, they also took an aluminum D/S, bastards

I thought the Dr gas pipes were basically on for life the way they are welded??? Man thats crazy, Ive never heard of someone taking the exhaust off a car, and how the hell did they not get caught. I mean, how do you convince someone that youre working on your exhaust in the parking lot of the casino. Oh anyway, keep your stock H pipe, just because when you go to the emissions testing, you have your stock pipe to put back on.

i sold my stock catback to a friend for 40 bucks, i would keep it incase some crack head decides to steal your exhaust. the shipping would probably cost more than you would get for it, if you sell it sell it local.

Well I have a Magnaflow catted x pipe so emmisions isnt an issue, besides where I moved to they don't check for emissions.

BTW Isn't the magnaflow x-pipe emmision legal?

it is legal, but there are conditions for its use. you must be out of the CA required 8 year 80,000 mile emissions warrenty, and you also have to have proof that your stock cats have failed or are unusable.

there is a rule in California that requires all auto manufacturers to warrenty emissions components for 8 years or 80,000 miles. thats how i got a new stock catback for my grand marquis for free because the exhaust hanger broke and the muffler was scraping. if your stock cats fail and you are still within this range you get the stock cats installed by a dealer under warrenty for free.

I am keeping mine, no matter how strapped I get. It aint worth trying to find another one if I ever need it.
