you guys may remember i had the 89 that wouldnt rev past 3500. i was told maybe the springs were bad, but with a stock cam why wouldnt the stock springs work. i was also told maybe the valves werent setting good. i talked to the guy i bought it from and he told me "one day i was spraying a 150 shot and it popped real loud, i pulled it apart and 2 lifters broke. i replaced them and it hasnt run right since." but i have pulled it apart and put it back togethor, everything looks normal.
