Stock or Saleen hood?

Hey guys, I'm trying to decide between a stock stle hood or something like the Sa10 hood. I want simple, and subtle. I went through the 3" cowl, then a 2.5" Ram air and I now want to look less "out there" The paint I have planned will do that. Any ideas on where to find an Sa 10?

So far, it's got 02 front brakes(minus the brake hose), 18x9" hypercoasted FR500 fronts, rear Superior Hardened 5 lug axles, Ranger drums. I may go to disc later...

I plan to go from purple/blue to a more subtle new Charger red up front where it'll fade to black before it passes front wheelwell. :SNSign:

Here's the closest thing to a SA-10 hood that you can probably get. Steeda Fiberglass Hoods - '87-'93 Ford Mustang

...Or a Cervinis 1.5 cowl wouldn't be too bad either.

Well, the engine needed some work. It had ported iron Gt40's, gt40 manifold, TFS stage 1 cam, rockers, etc. etc. Since the motor was being pulled to freshen the block, i figured I'd change to 5 lug and redo the interior in black

nope, she's been mine since I got her OFF the delivery truck from Ford in Nov 92, with 7 miles on the ticker!

simple and subtle is a heat extractor hood especially with a gt body kit. aggressive but not over the top

You could say the same thing for a cowl induction hood on a fuel injected fox.

who says that a cowl hood doesnt work on a F.I car? the low pressure area behind the cowl draws in cold air therefore cooling the motor

A true cowl induction hood design, like on a 69 Camaro is sealed so that cold air is fed to the carb. On an EFI car, it may help with keeping the engine compartment temps a little cooler, but is not a true "cowl induction".
