When it left the factory, it had a Limited slip differential. However, it's common for them to wear out over time. One way to tell is do a burnout and see if both wheels spin.

Over time the diff clutches wear out so you may need to get the t-lok rebuit...good time to swap gears if you'd like

Sounds like you need to have the diff rebuilt. It's an old car, that's to be expected. Just rebulid ( or have someone do it for you)

The first thing I would try is changing the diff fluid and adding a bottle of friction modifier. It's cheap and easy and it may just work.

rebuild posi
and yeah its a good time to do a r&p swap, but gear change is definatly way harder than a posi rebuild
just changing fluid would be pointless IMO
