I have a 1990 coupe and I wanted to swap out my old speakers and get a set of aftermarket replacements. I'm not really into heavy bass, just wanted a nice set of replacement speakers. I've pulled off the door panels and the wiring there seems straight forward (unplug the two small wires and hook them straight up to the new speakers).
The question I have are the rears. I checked out the sticked topic regarding speaker size so I guess I'm running either 5x7's or 6x8's ( can anyone confirm what size I have?) I noticed the wiring is somewhat different so I'm wondering if I have to make modifications to the existing wiring to hook it up to the new speakers? Any help is appreciated!
