Stock sway bar size?

The bushings I got are WAY too big. I got a micrometer to the sway bar and it comes out to just under 3/4" They sell 11/16 and 3/4. So which one should I get? I mean should the bushings be super tight, or is it a preference? Its a 70 F code f/b.

as i recall the stock sway bar size is 11/16" for most production mustangs. mach 1's and other specialty mustangs got the larger bars.
