I know i haven't stopped in for a while just came by to see if anything new was happening on here. I've been pre-occupied with my new chevy pulling an LT1 out sure sucks major ass lol. Sold my old built 5.0 motor/trans/etc. for $1000. The 466 is still running great after 3 years of being together now, and many chevy kills/6500 rpm shifts later.

I love Z06 wheels, they always look great on a camaro.
Why did you pull the motor?

Haven't seen you around in a long time. Really nice Z. What's it put down? And as always, a clean black lx makes me

After tuning and cam swap, RRs, etc. I lost oil pressure, was at 40 psi cold start, then 6 psi hot idle, then 1-2 psi hot idle after driving it around a little. Can't find a damn thing wrong with it, no noises at all, and it runs very strong. I decided to pull it out and do a stock rebuild on it to freshen up the shortblock (95,000 miles). Its my summer DD so i didn't want to go nuts, just cam and basic bolt ons, looking at 350-375 at the wheels with ported H&I. And thats plenty for a DD for me while still getting good mpg, and with the tuning and stock 10.5:1 compression i have to run 92-93 octane all the time. Gotta love a factory T56 too It idles about like a TFS1 cam, and with my exhaust system it really sounds awesome.

I know chevy bashing when i see it lol. But I really like the car as a DD. Its already beaten down its fair share of cocky mustang owners And i've beaten down my fair share of camaro drivers too. I don't play favorites, i own one of each lol, Ford, chevy and dodge.

LT1's have the sweetest exhaust I have ever heard. I prefer their sound over the LS1's and dare I say it 5.0's.
