for the last couple months i've liked the sound of my race bullets and my upr x-pipe. however, i'm left wanting more of a muscle car sound rather than the exotic tone i have now. anyways, how do prochambers generally sound with straight thru mufflers? i know people usually go chambered with h-pipes and such, but the prochamber is different and i don't want to change out my mufflers. and are there any good off road h's out there, i've heard fitment and quality on the mac one's were iffy and bbk midpipe's don't always sound the best.

I have a Prochamber and Magnapacks and it sounds awesome. That's the one thing I get the most compliments about.

wow this is like the 6th prochamber thread in the past week......
i went with an offroad H with my packs cuz the prochamber seemed a bit too quiet. I've heard a lot of people love the tone, but its just not extremely loud. I wanted loudest possible without goin with an o/r x pipe.

Borla stingers + o/r prochamber sounds awesome. Soon to ditch the prochamber for a bassani x pipe, and midlength headers. Hope it sounds good.

I have a offroad Prochamber and Welded Ultraflows from Dynamax. It sounds awsome and I get lots of compliments on the sound. Not to loud not to quiet. I personally don't like the raspy hi-pitch sound of X-Pipes

I had a MAC Prochamber with Magnapacks on my car on my old exhaust setup. I really liked the sound, nice and deep, sounded great. The only thing I didnt like, was the fact that it wasnt loud enough for me. But other then that, I would reccommend the sound and quality any day.

TrueBlue03, I see you ordered an O/R H to go with your Magnapacks, I also had this very exhaust setup as well. While it was very loud, it wasnt the right type of loud. After 3k RPM's it gave off this tin metal machine gun sound, almost like it was farting, no joke. I just did not like the sound, I lost the nice deep sound I had had before, and now had this tin ricer sound! At lower RPM's below 3k it sounds deep. And at higher RPM's above 5k, it screams like crazy, sounds amazing!! It was just that range between 3-5k where I do most of my driving that it wasnt sounding right, that tin metal noise is very annoying.

Now in both situations I had LT Headers, so hopefully the noise will not be as extreme for you TrueBlue03, or you may in fact like it. A guy on another forum had the Packs with LT's and an O/R H, and he liked the sound. I myself like that deep muscle car note, and couldnt bear that tin metal ricer crap! So I switched out to the regular Magnaflow catback, and sold my Packs. Sounds a lot better!! Got that deep note again, and its consistent throughout the RPM range. Its loud when you want it, and still sets car alarms off. But its also mellow at lower RPM's and sounds really nice in the interior, no nasty drone or high pitched noise, you can actually drive and talk if you wanted. But once you step on the gas, it opens up and sounds great!

Now I have a video of both setups! So you guys can both hear what your setups will soundlike for the most part. The first part of the clip has the O/R Prochamber with Packs and the second half has the O/R H with the Packs. Again its just a clip, hearing it in person is a whole different story, especially with that tin noise I was talking about, its 100x worse when your actually hearing it live. I dont have a clip of my new setup with the Magnaflow catback, but this will give both of you an idea of what your new setups will sound like.

Hope that helped!
