If you are willing to wait for a couple of days, I'll let you know if I6 setup front with the SSBC disc kit with a 289 has decent stopping power or not.

There are disk kits available, but they don't include spindles and the like.

Ozsum2's right, as I haven't seen a kit that comes with the spindles, although I wouldn't be suprised if there's someone out there that sells a prepackaged Granada disc swap kit with the spindle.

If you are planning on doing the suspension upgrade, do the upgrade first then the disc swap as the disc kits differ between I6 and V8.

Check the forum archives as there are many how to directions on this swap. Basically, if you do a Granada swap, it is cost effective to get spindles and linkage from a salvage yard. The brake kits are available from many Mustang vendors. No need to get a different rear end as you already have one with the 5 lug.

put the rear in, leave it drums for now, get granada front disc spindles and hubs, then go buy brand new discs and calipers and pads. Install and drive.

Don't forget a new master cylinder that can supply enough volume for those front calipers.

steel calm down here...the 6 to 8 is one of if not the most overwhelming thing to do other than bodywork. They sell suspension kits for a bout $400-600 for front and rear. and then you find the discs and spindles off of a granada..not sure which years......and a new mastercylinder and booster if going for PDB. you have the rear already so you are 1/3 the way there. Get suspension brakes and engine and you are done

The shop above sells brakes kits that come assembed with the spindles, but they are $$$$.
