sorry guys, just need a quick answer...
quickest/cheapest way to get a 94-95 into high 13s?

Shopping for a new car over the next couple of months and I'm trying to figure between an sn95 5.0 or 4.6. Leaning towards 5.0 because of the 4.6s POS heads

how cheap? You need to do some junkyard shopping. Cobra intake, GT40P heads, and a better cam. Also, you need to run down a diff from a '99 explorer; they come with 3.73 gears and are limited slip. Also, i'm sure if you find out what years Fords have the same driveshaft, i'm sure you could find an aluminum one in a junkyard as well. Its mainly a matter time. How much time do you want to put into rumaging around junk yards for parts that fit?

Also, strip out the backseat and trunk, including spare time to squeeze out a few extra tens of a second.

with the 5.0, it can definitely be done. but you will have to have patience. What i just told you will dramatically increase the car's performance.

Explorer parts can do it, or some Thumper heads and one of my ported lower intakes with a good cam is another way.

easy 13s with nitrous and good driving. nitrous cost you $600 for a good setup, or less for used stuff. some slicks and your good to go. easy as 1, 2, NITROUS!
