I think the money can be better spent and some of them are not as strong as the stock one. Do a google search and you will find more than one aftermarket K member that broke at the welds.

I've never seen a post where someone broke their stock K member on the street.

While there are a few nice aftermarket setups, they tend to be a tad bit pricey. For the most part, they are usually designed for cars that are raced or not driven frequently. For a daily driver type car, I'd stay with a beefy stock type unit

That is correct. However, I have seen MANY complain about broken motor mounts, rack mounts. welds, and other failures along with nightmare fitment and alignment issues. IMO IF you need an aftermarket K member, spend the money and go with MM. Not cheap but they make the sturdiest and best engineered- not some cheap chinese copy.
