Since my GT is convertible I want to get Subframe Connectors (heard it should be the first thing I do before I adding more power). I called a local place that I go to, but they said they won't install them because if it’s welded incorrectly the car wouldn't drive the way it’s supposed to. They are more of an import tuner place, so I think they just don't want to do it. Is it really that difficult/risky to install? I know nothing about welding or Subframe Connectors for that matter. Still a newbie to the Mustang world, so please forgive me if I asked a stupid question.

'bout the only trick is to make sure the car is sitting on all four wheels the same way it sits on the street. If it's not, you can induce a frame twist. But, I thought 'verts had 'em from the factory...? I got a muffler place to do mine, took 'em about 10 minutes, and they are used to working on a car on a lift with the wheels on the lift.. in fact it was the only kind of lift they had.

These pictures are a perfect example of why you shouldn't goto any mufflers shop. Goto a authorized installer.
