Hey guys

Does anyone have a set of full length bolt on subframe connectors that arn't mounted to there car that they could get some measurements off for me?? I want to get a guy at work to make me a set for my 88LX this weekend.

Cheers

You can basically run a tape between the front and rear subframes and measure. Should have at least a 6-8" overlap on both the front and back subframes. The summit brand subframe connectors on my old car were nothing more than heavy square stock with a slight bend to it.

Whatever you do, you should have the subframe connectors welded, even if you buy bolt-in pieces, and then have an exhaust shop or someone weld them later. The bolts tend to elongate the holes in whatever they are bolted to and get loose over time.

I would like some measurements if all possible,my car is in the shop getting gears and front springs done. Then I can take measurements to a guy at work and he will build them right there. And will sneak the car into out maintenance shop on sunday and he will weld them in. Oh I didnt realize there was a bend in them also.. damn

yep

Yep the full length ones have 2 bends in them to hug the bottom the of car plus a cross bar brace that your seat bolts connect into.

Just order up a set and be done with it, they are not that expensive.
