I have a '94 GT with a DSS 331 motor with twisted wedge heads and trickflow intake. i have light blue fuel injectors which, according to steeda, should be 24lbs. my mass air sensor is still the stock ford part according to its part number. i just recently replaced the fuel pump with a 255lph unit (future blower upgrade) because i thought maybe it was a faulty pump. but the pump works and it still stalls. what happens is when i drive the car it drives great, but sometimes when i come to a stop it will stall out, but more often when i shut her off and go to restart it while its hot, it'll just crank and crank and crank. is it possible that the factory mass air which is supposed to work with 19lb injectors and screwing with my motors 24lb injectors and causing this problem? if not, what else should i be looking at?

Yeah, the MAF should be recal'd.

Also (for now), you can try pushing the gas pedal to the floor while cranking (AND ONLY WHILE CRANKING). This will cut the injector pulse which helps clear flood conditions (which you likely have with the bigger injectors).

Good luck.

I would also note that since you have a 94, you really might need a tune/tuner to get it to run right, even with the correctly matched MAF. the T4M0 (et al SN puters) don't not seem to always like mods like you have.

Good luck.

So I can keep my existing MAF and make it work with the new injectors? Do I need to take it to a dyno shop where they can reprogram the computer, or is this something I can do myself? And one more thing, is it worth recalibrating the factory MAF or should I upgrade to an aftermarket unit?

stutter

You have to get a mass air sensor that has been made or calibrated for those 24# injectors the stock one is factory set to run with the 19# injectors. I bought the C&l you can just change the sample tube and go up in injector size, I bought it when I had the 19# injectors and when I did my new motor I just bought the sample tube for the 24# injectors and it was like $25.00 works great no problems

With your upgrades, I would really want a new larger MAF, myself. But others can probably answer better.
