Subs in the Trunk.

Hey guys, I have two 10" subs in a box that I want to mount up in the trunk of my 67 fastback. I was wondering if that is a safety hazard at all since the subs would be sitting on the gas tank. I was also planning on mounting the amp in the trunk too. I know I'm not the only one whos put or has subs in the trunk of they re classic mustang. What are yalls thoughts on this. Problems solutions? Thanks

As long as the box is bolted in, they should be safe enough. The trick with the Fastbacks is finding a place to mount everything and still have some room in the trunk

I made a sub/speaker box that bolts into the trap door opening in my ’66.
