Right now I've been looking at getting different mufflers for my 5.0. Right now I have areo turbines with a 2 inch turndown before the axle. It literally sounds like my car is blowing air at a fast and loud rate. I've been looking at series 10 flowmasters and looked up some clips on YouTube. But some of these mustangs sound like their running hot cams. So throw some suggestions out there.

10 series are great for that but so at the cherry bomb version of basically the same muffler at less cost.

Yea true. What size are the stock pipes on the 5.0?

Stock pipes are 2.25". Any aftermarket exhaust setup will be 2.5". Do not go 3" unless your car is highly modified or it will cost you power.

I prefer the dynomax ultra flow mufflers. they are a straight through type design and offer an aggressive sound without the tinny sound of a cherry bomb or the like
