I just recieved this balancer from summit
Summit Racing SUM-163302 - Summit Racing® OEM Harmonic Dampers - Overview - SummitRacing.com

Its one of the last things I need to put on to button up my engine build. My problem is that it has three sets of timing marks on it. Does anyone know which ones I need to use?

I'm just spit balling here, but didn't the timing pointer change locations on the 302 engine over the years (pre-5.0 days)? It may be for that.

Can you just turn the engine over until the number one piston is at TDC on the compression stroke and put the balancer on and see which set of timing marks is closest to 0 degrees?

Edit: I see it basically says that in the instructions. There ya go.

what he said ^, just put #1 at TDC,CS, then put it on and one set should line up. Its like that cause different sbf motors have different pointer locations

Engine Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
