summit/jegs sucks, any other company make high-flow chome/polished water pumps?

well.
summit and jegs both make their own brand 87-93 mustang water pump
with high-flow impellers, that push 30-40% more water.

well.. summit says they can ship theres on 9/2

and jegs says theirs is a 'specialy order' and cant be placed online. you have to call.
ill try calling in the morning during business hours..

but. my heads get back from the machine shop later this week

and i want to get this car up and running AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. ive missed my baby for MONTHS. and its finally almost ready to go back together.

waterpumps the only thing i cant get my hands on.


So, does anybody know of any other companies that make good waterpumps for foxbodies. higher flow than oem, must be polished/chrome.. yeah i know. dumb, but im into polishing and all that now. and i dont want to do a waterpump myself.

Order it from Summit.. I ordered mine and it was back ordered.. it came much sooner than was projected.. Not sure where your at but usually my parts all come from the Ohio. well all they did was ship it from the Navada warehouse. It was shipped the day after the rest of the order and here within 4 or 5 days. Not a big deal.

You won't get a chrome one from Summit any time soon. I ordered one in February (chrome hi flow) and I cancelled the order about 1 month ago and ordered a Weind (Holley) polished one instead. They kept giving me the run around for 5 months and I needed it ASAP. I found a company online that had some polished ones in stock and they sent it to me the next day.

For a good high flow pump I'd look at a Stewart Components, also available as polished.

How about an electric pump like a CSI? They arent polished but they come anodized and you'll pick up some extra hp at the same time

i got a polished WEIAND pump from Jegs, it came in 2 days and its great... although i havent started the motor yet so who knows how well it will perform.

The only electric pump you can run that will retain the heat system and accessores is the $469 Meziere.

The CSI has no provisions for HEAT and would require you do midy your entire belt system if you have all the accessories.

thats the exact same boat im in.. need it ASAP. let my parts guy try and get the jegs one for a month at least now. and no go. so gotta get it myself.

Stewart should have one on the shelf, best just to give them a call. I know the old pricing was $69 satin, $89 polished and they flow more then any other brand.
