A while back I got some gauges under my cowl, and then ordered some LEDs for them. I got the 5-way ones from www.superbrightleds.com. I remember someone wanted to see a comparison. Well...

Guess which one is the normal bulbs. lmao

It has a normal bulb with a green cover in it. It really doesnt even look on in the pics, and its not much different IRL. Glad I got the LEDs.

Damn the first one looks red! And you say it has the green cover right?

I need to do that to mine.... Mine are red and are dim to...

Yep. Green cover. Its so dim it doesnt even look on in the pic.

And dont get the autometer lights, they are like $12 a pop, and are just one LED. I got all 3 of my ones with 5 LEDs each for like $15 shipped.
 
I have seen the autometer led in blue before and it was almost too bright. I'm not sure on the autometer led specs, but the SuperBrightLed single LED might work great as well. I guess it depends on where it is in the car and how bright you want it. Maybe I'll just get both and see.
