I got a question If kenne bell has boost at all rpms and has more horsepower and torque then a paxton or vortech supercharger and paxton and vortech boosts only at high rpms why would you get paxton or vortech? I might be wrong Iam just trying to figure out which to get for my application. Can anyone gimme some facts?

Price is one of the major factors, plus with the twin screw type your better off stoplight to stoplight racing, but when bigger hp numbers are wanted the centri's can make ungodly amounts of boost. Hope I answerd your question. GL

Yes, a Kenne Bell has boost at any rpm. You've got full boost from the moment you floor it. As for a Kenne Bell vs. a centrifical such as a Paxton or Vortech it depends on your set up. My numbers are in my signature if that's any help.

the centri is kinda like a turbo it progresses in boost as the rpm's get higher and they keep pulling as the rpm's get higher where as the twin screw they max out at a certain rpm but here's a link that covers that

it's preference,
btw- when you race you will be in the upper power band anyway, so the centri's will be making boost the majority of the time.

that is so true the centri will be in its power band because you will be in the high rpm most of the time

FACT: A ride in both a KB or Centri car ... same boost .... will help the decision.

Whatever you decide...there's really no wrong kit to buy. Just choose it based on where you want to feel/make the most power, other modifications you have and your driving style. I'm sure you'd be more than pleased with any of them.

Also, since it makes its power in the upper power band you'll have easier launches. You won't really have to worry as much about wheel spin at the start then you would with a Kenne Bell.
