here are some pics to help me explain. where the oil fitting/hose is now, the hose hits the smog pump and pinches the line so thats no good. there are 4 total threaded holes on the bottom of the head unit. 3 have plugs in them and one has the oil line in it. i want to know if i can move the oil fitting to where the brass plug is because if i can, it would route the oil line out the passanger side and towards teh oil pan right where it has to go.
also, what is that little thing i have in my hand. its the thing that goes in the oil pan right? the small hole is to keep oil pressure high in the sc right? id call vortech but they are closed, i called 10 minutes to late
this is my only car and i cant drive it like it is please help!

Have you tried downloading the install instructions off of Vortech's website and see if they are helpful at all???

Not sure about using the different plug locations for a drain, but the little brass fitting in your hand is the oil inlet fitting. It has a mesh filter in it and screws into the upper part of the unit and the oil feed line that comes off the block by the oil pressure sending unit attaches to it (well, there's a 45* angle adapter that screws into the top and becomes a AN fitting)
