i will be getting a supercharger in august, haven't made up my mind yet. the vortech company over rated their superchargers i heard. got this source thru a procharger link. procharger says that intercooling is # for # the best way too go. i heard they have a leakage problem in their selfcontained unit.which is best? i'll let you all decide for me, however many results i get leaning toward either one that's the one i'm going to go with. right off i'm not going to get a intercooler or aftercooler, that will come later. and another big question is do i need to get some engine work done to prevent any damage or malfuntions, because i have 183,000 miles on my motor.(still strong!) if so what do i need done? what is the black stuff in my tailpipe? it don't drip water anymore. what's up with that?!
( i don't want you to include the items needed to use the charger efficiently)

stock except for K&N and flowmasters 40 series.
