supercharging my 91, need advice

ok im planning on putting either a novi 1k kit or a v1-sc kit on my 91 after i sell my other car

aside from the stuff that comes in the kit what other supporting things should i get at the time of install of the supercharger. My current mods are listed in my signature below

also i know this has been discussed before, but having trouble locating it now, i know that both kits are pretty similar but what are the main differences between the two (as in what they come with, discharge tube, rib setup, fmu?) and ease of changing boost?


i know h/c/i would be great to have as well but funds dont permit those as well at this time

hey ive been doing research for mine too. you should be alright with your current mods. if you step up your boost youll probably need an upgraded fuel pump and bigger injectors. i saw an article in 5.0 mustangs i think were they added a 70mm throttle body and an edlebrock intake on a stock engine with a supercharger and gained 40 horses on top of the supercharger just with those two upgrades. youll see more if you upgrade the fuel pump and injectors and of course youll need a maf sensor to go with the injectors. there was another good article about a month ago in mmff about fuel flow and what fuel systems to use with how much horsepower you have. you should look into turbo setups, its a little more but they are more complete. and you can get so much more horsepower.

i would love to go turbo but im having trouble locationg a california legal turbo kit, plus funding it is another problem seeing as though most kits are almost 2 1/2 times the price of the supercharger kit.

but if anyone knows of one that is ca emissions legal and a decent price i would love to know about it

plus anyone else got some more info on my previous questions.
