I just bought some upper and lower control arms subframes, and some 245/60/16 nitto 555r's, Before i had some goodyear eagle F1's and no suspension mods. Car was mostly stock except for it came with a ford motorsport longblock with different headers, and hi flow cats, magnaflow exhaust CAI and upped the timing on it. Its a 5 spd, 93 gt. I was having problems getting tractions and taking off the tires now are worn but not all the way to the wear mark on the tires and the car gets absolutly no traction, i have an engine that i built with:

Trickflow twisted wedge heads ported 2.08s, track heat intake, tfs 2 cam, 1.6 rockers, so i know once i put it in a couple of weeks traction is going to be absolutly no existant, my question is with the things i bought should i be alot better off or what else should i get for the car to help with traction. All help is very appreciated thanks

yes, how ever driving style has allot to do with starting line wheel spin. With the engine mod you are purposing feathering the gas while controlling the clutch engagement will help.

On my Capri with the stock suspension I had nothing but wheel spin through 1st and 2nd no matter how I feathered the gas and clutch. I had to leave at 1300, wait for clutch full engagement then hammer the gas. This too spun the wheels but it was less. I swapped the rearend to a Turbo T-Bird 3.73 unit, factory 5 upper and lower control arms and now the car still spins the tires but its only for 10 to 15 feet then hooks. This mod lowered my times to mid 12s. Now ifI could find a good dirver. LOL
