Over the winter my car will be getting new shocks, struts, and springs.. I'm thinking about getting new control arms since they are decently cheap and it'd be worth doing while I'm under there.
Here's some stats on my car if it helps:
1994 Mustang GT Convertible (It's green
)
Mods - 3000RPM Convertor, B&M Shiftkit, 4.10 Rear Gears, Rebuilt AODE, Custom bent H-pipe without kitties, Flowmaster 40 series mufflers, Cold Air Intake, 140lph Holley Fuel Pump.
Anyway, I'm looking for something that will handle good, but I don't want to be feeling the rear end drop so much when it shifts into second and third.. I feel like I'm loosing alot of power when it shifts because I feel it squat. I'm okay with lowering it up to 2 inches but I don't want it to be a lowrider or anything gay. I'm okay with how it handles around corners currently, I wouldn't mind a little better, but I can live with it if it means better launching off the line and less "squating".
I also figure I should put subframe connectors on due to the fact that it is a convertible. Since they are under 100 bucks I also find it reasonable.. I just hate to be out there soldering in the cold garage this winter.. But I do look forward to some good summer driving when it's time to roll out.
Anyway, Thanks for the suggestions.
