Ok, update is as follows;
We have completed the jig for the upper shock mount. We are currently waiting for the machine shop to spin us up a few more upper control arm shafts. I am expecting them to be ready Tuesday or Weds. We have re-designed the lower control arm for both ease of production, as well as to accept a screw in ball joint.
The reason for doing this was to decrease the overall width of the arm at the ball joint end, and clean up the look of the arm.
I am leaving for Nashville on Monday, and I won't be back until the 14th. Our group is recording 4-5 new songs, so I have to take a little break from the shop to get this done.
We ordered an Iron Worker as well for the production of these kits. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a machine that punches holes in steel with dies. It does a lot more that just punch holes, but that is going to save us a lot of drilling.
Strut rod's are in the works. We have a company our of Henderson, NV who makes a bunch of the stuff for "Fear Factor", and I am told they will be spinning up our strut mounts. It's a connection my uncle has (shop owner)so I am out of the loop on that one.
So everything is moving along.
