What is the latest "recipe" when it comes to retrofitting late model AC components such as the compressor, hoses, accumulator, condenser, etc on these cars?

Is it really limited to '91-'93 2.3li Mustangs? Will the Sanden 508 or 709 compressors work correctly with the 91-93 bracket or Merkur bracket?
