Well after all my posts here about my 5.0 I probably wont be doing much of that anymore. I finally after a few years of wanting a Lightning finally got a deal I could not refuse. 2004 Ford Lightning with 14k miles... I couldn't pass it up. Here is some pics of my 5.0 and Lightning. The 5.0 is currently undergoing some mods, 155lph fuel pump, fuel line fix, MSD 6AL, MSD Billet Distributor, Blaster 3 Coil, Electric Fan, DCcontroller, and a few other things.

1990 5.0 GT - probably going up for sale shortly








You can catch me on SVTPerformance, I have been on there for years but finally I have a reason to be there

Is it just me, or does the 3rd pick of the lightning make it look like it has a wicked oil leak?

Iam sure the L isnt leaking oil. Nice looking pickup, I'd like to own one someday. If I didnt live in the northeast I would prob have one for a daily driver.

No its not oil its from melted ice I believe. The night before was damn cold. Yeah bentley429 I dont drive it much, especially this time of year. I use my work van when working and can use other cars in the household if the weather sucks. I love living with my parents

I love that color of the L. Thats a badass truck and I intend on owning one, oneday. The thing thats hard for me to rationalize right now is living in the northeast owning a truck like that, that cant be driven in inclement weather. At any rate Lightnings are badass rides and a great way to destroy expensive tires.

what kinda mileage to the L's get? I am torn between the lightning and the SRT-10. both run the same kinda money where I live.

I want a lightning too! My friend had one and I swear that thing corners better than ANY car I've been in. The horsepower is crazy

Congrats! I'd sell it for a Lightning too

sweet ride man. enjoy being young and living with your parents, getting a sweet truck like that later on in life is a lot more difficult im sure. i don't know what the guy was talking about the srt-10 and the lightning being the same price, all the srt's i've seen are hitting for 45-55k, lightning's 20-25.

I average about 16 mpg city/highway combined, averaged about 19 mpg on the highway when driving down from AK.

wow, that's some great resale value there i was never impressed with those trucks, especially the 4 door version. just me though,don't particulary like dodges. but each to their own.
