Went back to my friend's house last weekend (that I bought the car from a year ago) and picked up his extra set of wheels/tires.
The only problem I have now are the tires he had on it. Kumho V700 R-comps aren't really meant for normal driving. They're like sand/dirt/pebble vacuums, sucking up everything off the road, then throwing it all over the car/wheel wells...
I'll have to remedy that soon. The other wheels had 712s on it, I love them but they're discontinued. The others are all 265s. I don't think a 265 will fit right on a 10" wheel (or will it?)
Anyone have any suggestions on where to find (2) 295/35-18 712s? (hope I'm not breaking rules, if anyone has a lead, feel free to PM, and not answer here)...
I don't feel so bad about pulling the V700s off, due to the fact I basically got them for free. For the 4 wheels (18x9/18x10) and (3) 265/35 and (2) 285/35 tires, he only wanted 4 bens for it all...
Again, if any part of this post is against any policies here, please edit it, or let me know and I'll change it. I'm not exactly making a "wanted" post, just a curious one as to where I might find some.
