Hey guys. I'm buying a new shortblock and will be topping it with a set of Thumper's heads, a Tmoss ported stock intake or a Cobra intake (any suggestions there?), a Comp Cams XE264HR cam, and the rest of the my mods in my sig. Anyway I was thinking of switching to mass air also, and I need to know if 19's will cut it or should I go right to 24's?

The 19 LB injectors are good to 300 flywheel HP at 39 PSI.

MASS air conversion instructions from http://www.stangnet.com/tech/maf/massairconversion.html FREE
A9L (5 Speed) computer from junkyard $100-$150
A9P (Auto or in a pinch, 5 Speed) computer from junkyard $100-$150
70MM MAF from 94-95 Mustang GT - $40-$70
MASS Air wiring harness kit $30-$85

The whole thing is probably less than $300 using junkyard parts.

A9L computers are 5 speed only
A9P computers are automatic, but will work with a 5 speed.

I ordered one of those harness kits from that link you posted. it is a 4 wire set up and a buddy is giving me a 94 maf. i see you recomend this maf but is it a 4 or a 5 wire connector. will it work with this pigtail?
It is 4 wire, plug & play, no changes needed to the 4 wire plug. Use the 94-95 MAF sensor because it matches the flow characteristics of the MAF meter housing.

That is the exact same combination I have (sorry no track times yet). I see you have a Kirban fuel pressure regulator (good choice btw). You should be fine with the 19's since you have the regulator. Both Thumper and Tmoss do excellent work. Sure, just about anyone anyone can take a die grinder to a set of heads or intake, but these guys know what it takes to get the flow #'s and power out of the stock stuff (awesome sleeper combination). The thumper heads also get you a 5 angle valve job (a definate plus when it comes to flow #'s) Let Tom (Tmoss) know your using the thumper heads and he will match your intake ports to them. They both are very helpful if you have questions. For anyone interested:

If your sticking with 19s I dont see the advantage of going with mass air. If your getting afr or tfs heads and will be pushing over 300rwhp and need to upgrade to 24s then id go with the conversion.
