T-45 to Tko 500 swap?

its actually pretty straight forward. i just put a tko 600 in my 2000 saleen. all you need is the bellhousing and either a steeda driveshaft spacer or custom driveshaft. you'll have to drill two holes on the mounting brackets for the crossmember. you don't even need the yoke the t-45 driveshaft yoke will work. and depending on the input shaft (10 or 26 spline) you'll need a new clutch disc if you have the 26 spline. you may need to remove or loosen headers if you have them. the t-45 bellhousing bolts are on the inside so it has to come out as one unit. that's the worst part. the install was easy.

well the tko 600 is a little more than the 500 at most places. i got mine through Holcomb motorsport but i originally wanted a tko 500 but after waiting two weeks for one to come in they got a tko 600 in first and i got it for 1790.00 shipped with the yoke( since at the time i didn't know the t-45 yoke fit. although the yoke that came with it was shorter so i would ask if its ok to use). there are places that are cheaper if they have them in stock. the 600 has a lower 1st gear but i can't tell the difference and once i put the blower on i won't need it plus i'm running more rearend gear.
