My T-5 is dying on my 87 GT vert again. This will be the second one I'm replacing. I've put 373s in so this time I would like to put in a T-56 6-speed. Does anyone recommend one of the conversion kits out there? who has them, how much are they, are they worth it? I think that they are about $2500 to $3000 (tranny + conversion parts) which considering I've already spent a lot on two T-5s, I wish I'd done it earlier. Does anyone have a how-to-do-it? I know that they put these in later model Cobras - can these be gotton used and put in with my 5.0 to save money?
