im not really new to the boards but im deployed to Afghanistan and had to re register...

anyway.

what are the differences btween the 86-93 WC T-5 and the 94-95, im thinking of ordering a new WC from D&D and was wondering what id need to do to make it work...

anyone know?

is there any difference?

The 94/95 T-5 has a 5/8" longer input shaft, and a 5/8" longer bellhousing to accomodate it. A Fox T-5 will fit, as long as you have the appropriate bellhousing, but the shifter will sit 5/8" forward from the stock location.

There are a couple minor differences in the T-5's after about 1990 (a reverse brake comes to mind), but an older one will still work.

The throwout bearing reatainer is also 5/8" longer. 90-up have 8 tooth speedo drive gear, while 89-down have a 7.

They might be able to get you a 94-95 compatible one with the longer input and retainer. I remember seeing in an ad in a magazine that they had 93-down ones and a seperate listing for 94-95 ones. I think they were the FRPP M-7003-Z. And I'm not sure but Tommie Vaughn Motorsports comes to mind.
