Ok so I just wanted to admit that I have not visited these boards latley since totalling my 88 GT, but I have a question for you Cobra guys with t-56s. How many of you have converted to an automatic tranny for extreme drag use? I am looking for a used T-56 thats farely cheap in cost for my project Thunderbird SC. I want to install a T-56 in it for road racing and some drag racing too. I know some of you may not have much respect for the SC but I need to find a T-56. Where could I find one? Does the bellhousing unbolt from the tranny so I can bolt on a bellhousing for a 5.0 on it?
